Add penalties | Outlap Docs

Time penalties are added to the driver’s total time. Points deductions reduce their championship points. Either changes the results, which recompute automatically.

Requires timing:write.

Penalty objects to create.

user_id string required

The Outlap driver the penalty applies to.
type string required

time for a time penalty, or points_deduction for championship points.
value_ms integer optional

Penalty length for time penalties, in milliseconds.
value_int integer optional

Points to deduct for points_deduction.
session_id string optional

Apply the penalty to one session rather than the whole event.
reason string optional

Shown to organisers and in results exports.
