What is Outlap? | Outlap Docs

Outlap helps drivers prepare for the track and helps clubs, tracks and organisers run events. It covers track days, drift events, circuit racing and karting, from a first track day to a race weekend.

For drivers

AI setup engineer Tyre, suspension, aero, gearing and driving-style advice for your car, the circuit and the day’s weather. Garage Your cars, tyres and past setups in one place, public or private. Circuits & weather A global circuit database with live and 7-day forecasts and grip-evolution curves. Lap timing Time laps on your phone, pair a RaceBox, or import your logger’s data.

For organisers, clubs and tracks

Run an event Create events in a few steps. Registration, waivers, payments and the day-of manifest are handled. Race Control Log laps, connect timing, fix mistakes and run sessions from one screen. Tickets & payouts Stripe Connect payouts straight to you. Outlap takes 5% of money you collect. Live timing board A read-only board for the paddock, spectators and a big screen.

For developers

The API reference covers the Live Timing API and Track API. Integrations lists the timing systems, loggers and developer tools that work with Outlap, including an MCP server for AI assistants.

How it fits together

Four roles show up throughout the product and the docs. They share the same accounts, and one person can hold several.

Pricing in one line

Outlap is free. Drivers pay nothing for timing, garage, setups, the circuit database or entering events. Clubs, tracks and teams pay nothing to list events or have unlimited members. The only fee is 5% of money collected through Outlap, paid out to your own Stripe account. Drivers can optionally add Outlap Pro for the live AI race engineer. See pricing for the current price.
