MyLaps Trackside / X2

Stream live laps from MyLaps Trackside or X2 through the RMonitor / results relay, or import X2 results and passings.

MyLaps Trackside and X2 timing systems can relay results over RMonitor. Outlap’s timing bridge forwards that feed to the live board.

Live

  1. Enable the relay.

    In Trackside / X2, open Settings → Outputs and enable the RMonitor / results relay. The default port is 50000.

  2. Run the bridge:

    node bridge.mjs --event <eventId> --key <outlapApiKey> --host 127.0.0.1 --port 50000 --vendor trackside
  3. Check the feed in Race Control, then verify transponders on the Paddock tab.

Passings instead of RMonitor

If you extract passings yourself, for example from a Speedhive or X2 export, you can send them directly. The stream endpoint accepts passings objects with a transponder or car number, a lap number and a lap time:

{
  "vendor": "trackside",
  "passings": [
    { "transponder": "MX-4421", "number": "12", "lap_number": 5, "lap_time": "1:28.420" }
  ]
}

File import

X2 results CSVs (with Transponder and Lap 1…N columns) and passings files are detected automatically when you use Import timing. See File import.
