Garage
Keep your cars, tyre compounds, transponder and race number, and past setups in one place, and choose what is public.
Your garage stores the vehicles you drive: road cars, race cars, karts and drift cars, along with tyre compounds and previous setups.
What you can keep
- Vehicles, with a primary car that’s used by default.
- Tyre library and compounds.
- Previous setups, linked to the cars they were made for.
- Transponder and race number, which Outlap uses to match your laps at timed events. Saving them in the garage means organisers don’t have to type them in.
- Timing calibration for the phone lap timer, so a phone mounted the same way each time starts calibrated. See Phone lap timer.
Privacy
Driver profiles are public by default at a stable URL (/driver/your-name), so you can share them. You choose which cars and setups are visible. Personal contact details are never shown publicly.
Make a car private from the garage if you’d rather not show it on your profile.
Your transponder at events
-
Open Garage → Timing and enter your transponder ID and race number.
-
Enter an event. The organiser’s Paddock tab picks them up automatically.
-
Hire transponder on the day? Tell the organiser, who can add it in Race Control. Laps will still match.
If you’d like laps and standings to be read by software, see Conventions and Leaderboard.
