Waivers
Capture an immutable signed waiver for every registration, using the default text or your own.
Every registration is preceded by a waiver step: “One step before you book: the waiver.” The attendee must tick that they’ve read, understood and agree before booking continues.
Immutable snapshots
When someone signs, Outlap stores a snapshot of the exact waiver text they agreed to, together with the event. If you later edit your waiver, earlier signatures still show what each person actually agreed to. Signing twice for the same event is detected.
Use the default, or your own
Events use Outlap’s default waiver unless you supply your own text. The default covers:
- Assumption of risk
- Waiver of liability
- Vehicle condition
- Compliance with rules, flags and marshals
- Medical fitness
- Indemnity
Why it matters
A clear, dated record of what each attendee agreed to is part of running a safe event. Pair it with your safety briefing: the platform can’t remove risk, and every participant stays responsible for their own driving.
